SDK 1.5 Eases Custom Integrated Wireless System Deployments
LOUISVILLE, Colo. (July 1, 2008) – Inovonics Wireless Corporation, the leader in commercial-grade wireless security products, today announced the availability of its latest version of the EchoStream Software Development Kit, SDK 1.5.
Inovonics’ SDK simplifies the interface between third-party software applications and the Inovonics EchoStream wireless product portfolio. The most recent version includes support for environmental sensors and pulse count transmitters, enabling the integration of multiple building management sensors into the same wireless network.
“Inovonics has developed the SDK for integrators with the need to create custom wireless sensor network deployments,” said Mark Jarman, Inovonics president. “Without this development tool, a custom deployment that ties into existing systems can be very time consuming and costly. The SDK speeds the time to market for our partners on these high-dollar jobs.”
“The capabilities of next-gen wireless networks are expanding exponentially, and as a result, converging with existing building systems,” said Jarman. “Inovonics is committed to helping our partners stay ahead of that curve.”
SDK 1.5 is available in an evaluation version at no charge or as a fully functional SDK license.
