Radius
Radius is an enterprise mobile duress system featuring the unique capability to locate mobile duress alarms. When help is needed, Radius provides immediate notification and directs responders to the location of the call.
Acute Care and Violence Prevention with Radius
Proven to Protect People
Inovonics designed Radius specifically for the purpose of protecting people. Workplace violence is unpredictable and can often cause chaos and panic, even with the best of preparation. Fortunately, there is one simple security measure that is proven to help prevent violence.
Only 1 [environmental control measure] was significantly associated with lower odds of physical violence – panic button/silent alarm.

Key Features
Mobile Duress with Location
Knowing help is needed without knowing where, is really no help at all. Using software that leverages Inovonics’ dedicated wireless network, Radius can determine where an alarm is coming from within a building or a campus setting. This allows responders to locate the call for help immediately and accurately.
Adaptive Notification
In the event of an emergency, the right people need to get the information they need to act effectively. Radius ensures that emergency alerts are delivered by using the devices hospital employees depend upon, including two-way radios, VoIP telephones, e-mail, mobile phones, and text messaging. As events escalate, the recipient list can escalate accordingly, so that emergencies are targeted and handled by the appropriate personnel, ensuring the safety of everyone.
Dedicated Wireless Network
Radius functions on a secure, supervised wireless network, removed from the common faults and down times that other wireless connections provide. Radius also offers complete campus coverage with its high power repeater network.
