Inovonics to Showcase New Integrated Security Solutions and Participate in Panel on Enterprise Mobile Duress at ISC West 2013

Inovonics to exhibit, demo new technology that supports PSIA open standards, along with partners Proximex, Optex and 3xLOGIC

LOUISVILLE, Colo., April 2, 2013 – Inovonics, the industry leader in high-performance wireless sensor networks for commercial and life safety, today announced it will be unveiling its latest security offering at ISC West 2013 in booth #3127. The new security system was designed to align with the Physical Security Interoperability Alliance’s (PSIA) open architecture and will also be demoed by Inovonics’ partners Proximex, Optex and 3xLOGIC. Details about the new security solution will be officially announced on April 10, 2013 at ISC West which is being held at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV.

Jarman also will provide expert insight on advancements in Enterprise Mobile Duress (EMD) during a panel session of security, workplace violence and end-user experts on Wednesday, April 10 at 7:30 a.m. PDT Map Your Show. He will be joined by fellow panelists Guy Grace, director of security and emergency planning at Littleton Public Schools; Bryan Jones, director of systems integration at HSS; W. Barry Nixon, executive director at the National Institute for the Prevention of Workplace Violence, Inc.; Ray Osborne, director of security services, UC San Diego Health System; and, moderator, Deborah O’Mara  editor-in-chief of Security Dealer and Integrator Magazine

The panel will examine workplace violence trends and how Enterprise Mobile Duress Systems indicate an evolution of security systems from basic building security to an additional focus on protecting the people in and around the facility. Panelists will discuss the applications and key considerations when selecting an enterprise mobile duress system. The moderator, O’Mara, will draw from her deep expertise and encourage the panel to explain best practices for keeping staff, patients and visitors safe using Enterprise Mobile Duress Systems.
