LOUISVILLE, Colo., November 16, 2018 – Inovonics, an industry leader in high-performance wireless sensor networks, announces the release of its new IP gateway. The EN4080 IP gateway will serve customers in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and the EE4080 IP gateway will serve customers in the European Union. When combined with the Inovonics Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) protocol license, customers can push Inovonics EchoStream® data directly into Amazon Web Services cloud applications to support their IIoT commercial monitoring applications. MQTT is a widely adopted ISO standard, ISO/IEC PRF 20922, publish-subscribe-based messaging protocol.

Features for the IP gateway with the MQTT license configuration include:
  • Combination of EchoStream serial receiver functionality and an IP gateway into a single product.
  • Optional power over Ethernet feature.
  • Support of over-the-air updates.
  • Compatible with all Inovonics EchoStream one-way transmitters.
  • External LEDs indicate power, IP connectivity and message receipt.
“With the launch of our IP gateway, customers remove system complexity, gaining a seamless path to drive their IIoT monitoring applications,” said Scott Fincher, Senior Product Manager at Inovonics. “No longer do they need to source third-party IP gateways, develop custom integrations or deal with serial to IP interfaces. Instead, they source a single product from Inovonics, with the world-class customer support they’ve come to expect.”
